Been thinking about this a lot lately. Have observed the trend across various creators.

Salman Khan: Math YT → Khan Academy

ABNUX: Design YT → 10kdesigners

Rahul Mathur: Insurance blog (Linkedin/Medium) → BimaPe

I think the idea here is that you get to learn to consistently create, hustle, upskill and grow as a content creator. Entrepreneurship broadly relies on the same principles. Even building an A-team is a shared principle these days. And I think it's a good trend. Entrepreneurship is not everyone's cup of tea, but creating content is. We should encourage more people to put out content. It's not mandatory, but it's a nice-to-have if you eventually want to startup.

If you can't build, create. If you can't create, you should at least document. GaryVee often says "Document, don't create". Documenting can be as simple as jotting down what you learned today in 280 characters, won't take more than 5 minutes. It's sort of a low-effort, high-ROI activity. Documenting has a huge upside as it can and IT WILL expose you to more opportunities out there. The first step is to put yourself out there. Creating seem daunting? Simply document. Start small. Just remain consistent, it takes time.

I was at a point where I'd enough opportunities but lacked skills, just because I put myself out there, without hesitation. Shared what I learned, commented what I thought, shitposted around, slid into people's DMs, etc. Today I have a strong network & enough opportunities that dropping out feels like no big deal. Got a long way to go nonetheless!

Until next time :)
