"10 things you should do to optimize your day"

"5 apps that'll take your productivity through the roof" To-do lists, time-blocking, GTD, etc.

Productivity has become a billion-dollar industry. Influencers selling courses left, right, and center and people buying in with the hope of becoming super productive at the end of it are so sad to see. I have been a victim too. (never bought a course though)

While I don't find anything 'wrong with the whole idea, what I find wrong is the way people sell it.

I think productivity is a marathon like many other aspects of life. It takes months/years and not just days/weeks. So do less but be consistent & continuous. Keep at it. Don't expect miracles in days.

Even though it's not feasible for most of us, your ultimate goal should be to do whatever you want, whenever you want.

As for now, it's really about just doing the work. At least that's what I've learned. I don't bother making todo lists or organize shit on Notion anymore,

Just pick the most important thing to do for the next day and get it done. Once you're in that momentum of doing and getting shit done daily, THEN think about ways of optimizing it further. BUT, the first step is to ACT.

ACT. Fix your day, then fix your year. Trust the process.

Until next time :)
