Reddit has probably been the most time sucking thing ever in my life. Reels/Shorts don't even come close. I grew up hanging out not irl, but on the weird side of the internet, reddit. Having seen the most weirdest and sometimes some very dark shit, nothing really baffles me at this point.
On the flip side though, you also get to see some of the most amazing and varied experiences that people tend to have across the world. People say books are a gateway to live other people's experiences. I think reddit comes close second. With internet at your disposal and some free time, some reddit threads and stories are worth reading, you never know which story might end up making your life better in some way or the other.
r/AskReddit, probably one of the most popular subreddits. I found myself reading some creepy as well as wholesome stories under a very popular question that didn't even have anything to do with it. And boy do things escalate quickly. It's madness in the replies of replies xD

Could've deep dived more into all of it, but it's best to not talk in great detail, especially about the dark side which was my original intent with today's piece. I realised it's best to let people experience it IF their curiosity leads them to it. Ending the essay on a good note instead, here are some wholesome subreddits you might wanna explore:
Until next time :)
