A lot has happened over the past few months. Heck, even years. The world's not getting a chance to take a breather since 2020!
In the mix of problems on a macro level like the pandemic to micro issues of burnout, hot takes on Twitter & all the chaos around, the idea of slowing down, pausing, relaxing has taken a backseat.
Sure, people are taking breaks, but letting their guards down, not the right way to go about it I suppose.
Relaxing doesn't necessarily mean going out on a vacation or tour. One can STILL relax while at home.
It can be as simple as breaking the routine. Your brain won't even resist it since it saves energy. Actively procrastinate.
It's not even about taking a day off from work, or reading books while having chai.
Just go with the flow. Do whatever you want. Don't force. Don't resist. JUST BE.
Although I'd still suggest staying away from social media for some time, coz it's a mess out there rn. (when has it never been lol)
Today was one of the very few days I've had in the past year where I've had 0 thoughts about work or productivity.
Sat through a 4-hour entrance exam. Came back, laid my head on mom's lap (BEST FEELING EVER) & relaxed. This itself is a big stress reliever.
Now enjoying some fantastic sports. First Wimbledon (Djoker 🐐), now EURO finals, hoping Italy wins 🤭
Surely gonna try and have such lazy Sundays more often. Highly recommend you to do it too!
Until next time :)
